Terms Of Purchase
Introduction
These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) apply to purchases of products and services made through www.jskeuc.com (the “Site”).
The Site is operated by the business identified on the Site (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms should be read together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Notice, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, and any other policies referred to on the Site. Together, these documents set out the terms that apply when you access the Site or place an order with us.
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing any product or service.
By submitting an order through the Site, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any rights or remedies that you have under applicable UK consumer law.
GENERAL TERMS
By placing an order through the Site, you confirm that:
-
you are at least 18 years old, or otherwise legally capable of entering into the relevant contract;
-
the information you provide to us is accurate and complete;
-
you are authorised to use the payment method provided; and
-
your purchase and use of our products will comply with applicable laws and regulations.
These Terms constitute part of the contract between you and us once your order has been accepted in accordance with the Order Processing section below.
Where we communicate with you by telephone, email or other electronic means, those communications may be retained or recorded where permitted by law and where appropriate for customer service, fraud prevention, training or record-keeping purposes. Information collected through such communications will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
If you are purchasing as a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have statutory rights in relation to the products you purchase.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods supplied to consumers must, among other requirements, be of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose and match their description. Nothing contained in these Terms limits those statutory rights.
For most products purchased online, UK distance-selling rules also provide consumers with a right to cancel an order within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to certain statutory exceptions. After notifying us of cancellation, you will normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Further information is available in our Returns and Refund Policy.
PRIVACY NOTICE
We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice available through www.jskeuc.com.
Personal information may include information provided when you:
-
place an order;
-
create or use an account;
-
contact customer service;
-
subscribe to communications;
-
make a payment; or
-
otherwise interact with the Site.
We process personal information only where we have an appropriate lawful basis under applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, as applicable.
Our Privacy Notice explains, among other things:
-
what information we collect;
-
why we collect and use it;
-
the lawful basis on which we rely;
-
who we may share it with;
-
how long we retain it;
-
whether information is transferred internationally; and
-
the rights available to you in relation to your personal information.
We may update our Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes to our business practices, technology or legal obligations.
Any updated Privacy Notice will be published on the Site. Where applicable law requires us to provide additional notice or obtain consent before making a particular change, we will do so.
PURCHASES
Order Processing
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the relevant products from us.
Receiving an automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
Unless otherwise stated during checkout, your order is accepted when we send you confirmation that the order has been accepted or dispatched.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
-
a product is unavailable;
-
the payment cannot be authorised;
-
the information provided is incomplete or incorrect;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
-
delivery cannot be made to the address supplied;
-
applicable law prevents us from completing the transaction; or
-
there is an obvious pricing, description or technical error.
We may carry out reasonable checks to verify payment details, identity or order information for fraud-prevention and security purposes.
If we cancel an order after payment has already been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or order using the original payment method, unless another method is agreed with you.
We may correct genuine errors or inaccuracies on the Site. However, once a binding contract has been formed, we will not materially alter your confirmed order, price or essential product terms without your agreement except where permitted or required by law.
PRODUCT AND SERVICE DESCRIPTIONS
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, measurements and other information displayed on the Site are accurate.
However, minor differences may occur. For example:
-
colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen or device;
-
packaging may occasionally be updated;
-
measurements may vary within reasonable manufacturing tolerances; and
-
non-material product presentation details may differ from photographs.
These differences do not affect your statutory rights where a product is materially different from its description or does not comply with applicable consumer law.
Under UK consumer law, goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
If you believe that a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us in accordance with our Returns and Refund Policy.
Quick View and Shopping Features
The Site may provide features such as Quick View, product previews or “Add to Cart” buttons that allow you to review basic information without opening the full product page.
These tools are provided for convenience.
Before completing a purchase, we recommend reviewing the full product page, including available information regarding:
-
product specifications;
-
sizing;
-
materials;
-
contents;
-
care instructions;
-
features;
-
price; and
-
any relevant warnings or limitations.
The information displayed at checkout will form part of the information presented to you before you submit your order.
PRICING INFORMATION
We aim to ensure that all prices displayed on the Site are accurate and transparent.
Prices intended for UK consumers are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless clearly stated otherwise.
Where VAT is applicable and must be included in the consumer price, the price displayed will include the applicable VAT. UK guidance provides that prices aimed at the general public should include VAT where VAT is due.
Mandatory charges that can reasonably be calculated in advance will be disclosed as part of the total price in accordance with applicable UK price-transparency requirements.
The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 consumer protection provisions concerning unfair commercial practices, including strengthened rules concerning drip pricing, have applied since 6 April 2025.
Updated UK price-marking requirements applicable in Great Britain took effect on 6 April 2026.
Delivery charges, where applicable and dependent on your delivery location or selected delivery method, will be clearly shown before you complete your order.
If we discover an obvious pricing error, we may contact you before accepting the order and give you the option to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order.
If an order affected by such an error is cancelled after payment has been taken, we will issue an appropriate refund.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Product availability shown on the Site is provided in good faith but may change during periods of high demand.
Adding an item to your basket does not reserve that item.
In rare circumstances, an item displayed as available may become unavailable before your order is processed.
If an item you have ordered becomes unavailable, we may:
-
contact you with an appropriate alternative, where available;
-
remove the unavailable item from your order; or
-
cancel the affected order or item.
We will notify you where appropriate.
Where payment has already been collected for an item that we cannot supply, the relevant amount will be refunded.
DELIVERY
Orders are generally processed within 3–5 working days.
Following dispatch, delivery to UK addresses will normally take approximately 7–15 working days, depending on your location, courier availability, customs or border procedures where applicable, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Any delivery date provided is an estimate unless we expressly agree that delivery by a particular date is essential.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you, UK consumer law generally requires goods to be delivered without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 30 days after the contract is entered into.
If delivery is materially delayed, your rights will be determined in accordance with applicable UK consumer law and our Shipping Policy.
WARRANTIES, PRODUCT STANDARDS AND SAFETY
Some products may include a separate manufacturer's warranty. Where such a warranty applies, the relevant information will normally be provided with the product or on the applicable product page.
A manufacturer's warranty is separate from your statutory consumer rights and does not replace or limit those rights.
Products offered to UK consumers must comply with applicable legal requirements relating to safety, labelling and product standards where those requirements apply.
Any safety warnings, instructions or other legally required information will be provided as required under applicable law.
Before using any product, you should:
-
read the supplied instructions and warnings;
-
use the product only for its intended purpose;
-
follow applicable care, maintenance or safety requirements; and
-
check any compatibility requirements stated on the product page.
For electrical products, customers should follow the voltage, plug, power and compatibility information provided with the product.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability or obligations that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
TAXES, VAT AND IMPORT CHARGES
Prices for UK consumers will include VAT where VAT is required to be included in the advertised selling price.
Where goods are shipped to the UK from outside the United Kingdom, different VAT and import rules may apply depending on factors such as the value of the consignment, where the goods are located at the time of sale and how the goods are supplied.
For goods sold directly by overseas sellers to UK customers, HMRC currently applies specific rules to consignments with a value of £135 or less, while different import VAT and customs arrangements may apply above that threshold.
Where any additional delivery, customs, import or other unavoidable charge is payable by you and can reasonably be identified in advance, we will provide the relevant information before you complete your purchase as required by applicable law.
We will not intentionally add undisclosed mandatory fees after presenting a headline price where doing so would breach applicable UK price-transparency requirements.
CHANGES TO PRODUCT INFORMATION
We may update:
-
product descriptions;
-
availability;
-
future prices;
-
promotions;
-
specifications; and
-
other Site content
from time to time.
Changes to Site information will generally apply to future purchases and will not retrospectively alter a completed contract with you unless:
-
you agree to the change;
-
the change is required by law; or
-
another legal basis permits the change.
YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any legal rights available to UK consumers that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a mandatory right available to you under applicable UK consumer law, the mandatory legal right will take precedence.
