Terms of Service
Welcome to www.jskeuc.com.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of www.jskeuc.com, including any mobile version of the website and any related online services operated by us (collectively, the “Site”).
For the purposes of these Terms, “Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating www.jskeuc.com.
Purchases made through the Site are also subject to our Terms of Purchase, which form part of the contract between you and us where applicable. Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping Policy, Returns and Refund Policy and any other policies made available on the Site.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should stop using the Site.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or otherwise affect any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable UK law.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND INFORMATION ACCURACY
You must use the Site lawfully and provide accurate information when placing an order, creating an account or communicating with us.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide, including:
-
your name;
-

is accurate, complete and reasonably up to date.
You should notify us or update your information where necessary if any relevant details change.
You must not knowingly provide false, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorised information.
2. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available through www.jskeuc.com.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection and privacy laws.
Using the Site does not automatically constitute consent to every form of personal data processing. Where consent is legally required, we will request it separately.
Please review our Privacy Policy for further information about:
-
information we collect;
-
how we use it;
-
our lawful bases for processing;
-
cookies and tracking technologies;
-
data sharing;
-
international transfers;
-
retention periods; and
-
your applicable privacy rights.
3. LICENCE AND ACCESS TO THE SITE
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Site for lawful personal and non-commercial purposes.
You may view and, where appropriate, print or save reasonable portions of Site content for your own personal use.
You must not remove or alter copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices contained in Site materials.
This permission does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not use the Site in a way that:
-
violates applicable law;
-
infringes another person's intellectual property or other legal rights;
-
attempts to obtain unauthorised access to our systems or accounts;
-
introduces viruses, malware or other harmful code;
-
interferes with the proper operation or security of the Site;
-
deliberately imposes an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure;
-
uses automated tools to extract Site data in a manner prohibited by law or these Terms;
-
attempts to circumvent security or access controls;
-
impersonates another person or organisation;
-
uses the Site for fraudulent activity; or
-
materially disrupts another person's use of the Site.
You must not reproduce, republish, commercially exploit, frame or distribute substantial portions of Site content without our permission where such permission is legally required.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to prohibit activity that cannot lawfully be restricted.
5. ACCESS RESTRICTIONS
We may temporarily suspend, restrict or terminate access to the Site where reasonably necessary, including where:
-
you materially breach these Terms;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity;
-
your activities threaten the security or operation of the Site;
-
we are required to do so by law;
-
maintenance is required; or
-
we discontinue all or part of a service.
Where reasonably practicable, we will act proportionately to the circumstances.
Termination or restriction of Site access does not affect any statutory consumer rights relating to orders already placed.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content, including:
-
text;
-
graphics;
-
photographs;
-
illustrations;
-
page layouts;
-
software;
-
icons;
-
logos;
-
trade marks;
-
product presentation; and
-
other materials
are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party trade marks and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
You may not use our intellectual property for commercial purposes without appropriate permission except where permitted by applicable law.
7. USER-SUBMITTED CONTENT
The Site may allow customers to submit content such as:
-
product reviews;
-
photographs;
-
comments;
-
feedback; or
-
other materials.
You remain responsible for content that you submit.
You must ensure that your content:
-
is lawful;
-
is genuinely based on your experience where presented as a review;
-
does not knowingly contain false or misleading information;
-
does not infringe third-party rights;
-
does not contain unlawful threats or harassment;
-
does not contain malicious software;
-
does not disclose another person's confidential or private information without appropriate authority; and
-
does not impersonate another person or organisation.
8. LICENCE FOR USER CONTENT
When you voluntarily submit content for publication on the Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display and otherwise use that content to operate, provide and promote the Site and our related services.
This licence includes the ability to make reasonable technical or formatting modifications necessary to display the content correctly.
We may allow service providers acting on our behalf to process the content where reasonably necessary to provide our services.
You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your submitted content.
This licence will continue for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which the content was submitted, subject to legal, record-keeping and technical backup requirements.
Where you request removal of content, we will consider the request in accordance with applicable law and our legitimate operational requirements.
9. PRODUCT REVIEWS
Reviews and other user-generated content represent the views of the individual who submitted them and do not necessarily represent our views.
We may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, including content that:
-
violates these Terms;
-
contains unlawful material;
-
is demonstrably fake or fraudulent;
-
contains spam;
-
is unrelated to the relevant product; or
-
infringes another person's rights.
We will not knowingly present fake reviews as genuine customer reviews.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to independent websites, payment services, delivery services, social media platforms or other services operated by third parties.
These links may be provided for convenience.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their independent:
-
website content;
-
privacy practices;
-
availability;
-
terms and conditions; or
-
security arrangements.
You should review the applicable terms and privacy information before using a third-party service.
Nothing in this section excludes responsibility that we are legally required to accept.
11. SITE AVAILABILITY
We aim to keep the Site reasonably available and functional, but we cannot guarantee that access will always be continuous or completely free from errors.
The Site may occasionally be unavailable because of:
-
maintenance;
-
upgrades;
-
technical failures;
-
hosting interruptions;
-
cyber incidents;
-
telecommunications failures; or
-
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may update, modify or temporarily suspend portions of the Site where reasonably necessary.
12. INFORMATION ON THE SITE
We take reasonable care when preparing information published on the Site.
However, general Site content may occasionally contain:
-
typographical errors;
-
technical inaccuracies;
-
outdated information; or
-
minor display differences.
Product purchases are separately governed by our Terms of Purchase and your applicable statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms allows us to avoid responsibility where a product is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described where those statutory requirements apply.
13. CONSUMER RIGHTS
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have legal rights that these Terms cannot take away.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable UK consumer legislation, including where relevant the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory legal right will apply.
14. DISCLAIMERS
The Site is provided on an “as available” basis.
To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:
-
every part of the Site will always be available;
-
the Site will be completely free from minor technical errors;
-
every device or browser will display Site content identically; or
-
third-party networks or services will always function without interruption.
These limitations relate to operation of the Site and do not remove or reduce any statutory rights you may have in relation to products or services purchased from us.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, obligation or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by negligence where liability cannot legally be excluded;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
breach of statutory consumer rights where liability cannot legally be excluded; or
-
any other matter for which liability cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
If we fail to comply with these Terms, we remain responsible for loss or damage that is a reasonably foreseeable consequence of our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to applicable law.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for losses caused entirely by circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.
Where you use the Site as a consumer, we do not seek to exclude liability merely because loss is described as “direct”, “indirect”, “incidental”, “special” or “consequential” where such an exclusion would be inconsistent with your statutory rights.
We are not responsible for business losses where you use the Site wholly for personal consumer purposes.
16. TIME LIMITS FOR CLAIMS
We do not impose a separate one-year contractual deadline that automatically removes your statutory rights.
Any claim will instead be subject to the limitation periods and other time limits provided by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms reduces a statutory limitation period where doing so would be unlawful or unfair.
17. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR MISUSE
You are responsible for losses that you cause through deliberate unlawful use of the Site or a material breach of these Terms, to the extent provided by applicable law.
Nothing in this section requires a consumer to reimburse us for losses that:
-
were not caused by the consumer;
-
were not reasonably foreseeable;
-
arise from our own breach or negligence; or
-
cannot lawfully be transferred to the consumer.
18. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
When you use the Site or place an order, we may communicate with you electronically where appropriate.
Operational communications may include:
-
order confirmations;
-
payment notifications;
-
delivery information;
-
customer service responses;
-
security notices;
-
material policy notices; and
-
legally required communications.
Where permitted by law, notices that are required to be in writing may be provided electronically.
Marketing emails, promotional text messages and similar communications are governed separately by our Privacy Policy and applicable UK electronic marketing rules.
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing communications without affecting essential transactional communications.
19. TRADE MARKS AND COPYRIGHT
Trade marks, service marks, logos and other brand identifiers displayed on the Site may be owned by us, licensed to us or owned by third parties.
You must not use these materials in a way that:
-
falsely suggests endorsement or affiliation;
-
misleads customers as to the origin of products or services;
-
infringes applicable intellectual property rights; or
-
otherwise violates applicable law.
Unauthorised commercial reproduction or distribution of protected Site content is prohibited.
20. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
We respect intellectual property rights.
If you believe that material available through the Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact:
Please provide sufficient information for us to investigate the complaint, which may include:
-
identification of the protected work or right;
-
identification of the allegedly infringing material;
-
where the material appears on the Site;
-
your contact information;
-
an explanation of your rights in the material; and
-
any supporting documentation reasonably necessary to verify the claim.
We may request additional information where reasonably necessary.
Where appropriate, we may remove or restrict access to material that infringes applicable rights and may take proportionate action in relation to repeated infringement.
21. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control where applicable law permits.
Such circumstances may include:
-
severe weather;
-
natural disasters;
-
war or civil disturbance;
-
government action;
-
major transportation disruption;
-
widespread telecommunications outages;
-
significant cyber incidents;
-
industrial action involving third parties; or
-
public health emergencies.
Where such an event materially affects an order or service, we will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate with you where appropriate.
This section does not remove any cancellation, refund, delivery or other statutory consumer rights that apply because of a substantial delay or failure to perform.
22. RISK OF LOSS OR DAMAGE TO GOODS
For orders supplied to UK consumers, goods normally remain at our risk until they come into the physical possession of:
-
you; or
-
a person identified by you to take possession of the goods.
If you independently arrange for a carrier that was not offered by us to transport the goods, different rules may apply from the point at which the goods are delivered to that carrier.
Transfer of risk does not remove any rights you may have where goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise do not comply with applicable consumer law.
23. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a complaint or dispute relating to the Site or an order, please contact us first at:
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate the issue and seek an appropriate resolution.
Nothing in these Terms requires a UK consumer to submit a dispute exclusively to binding arbitration in Hong Kong.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights or remedies available through the courts or another legally available dispute-resolution procedure.
24. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
If you are a consumer residing in the United Kingdom, these Terms are governed by applicable UK law and, where relevant, the law applicable in the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
If you live in England or Wales, proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in the Scottish courts where applicable.
If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of Northern Ireland where applicable.
Nothing in this section deprives you of mandatory consumer protections available under the law applicable to you.
25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect:
-
changes in applicable law;
-
changes to the Site;
-
security requirements;
-
changes to our services; or
-
reasonable changes to our business operations.
The latest version will be published on www.jskeuc.com together with its updated revision date.
Changes will generally apply prospectively.
We will not use an update to retrospectively remove statutory rights or materially alter an existing completed contract without an appropriate legal basis.
Where a change materially affects an ongoing service and additional notice is required by law, we will provide that notice.
26. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held by a competent court or authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent legally possible.
27. NO WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not automatically mean that we have waived our right to enforce it later.
A waiver relating to one breach does not automatically constitute a waiver of a later breach.
28. ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer your obligations under these Terms where doing so would materially affect our rights without our consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
We may transfer our rights or obligations as part of a legitimate business transfer or restructuring, provided that doing so does not reduce mandatory rights available to you as a consumer.
29. SURVIVAL
Provisions that by their nature are intended to continue after termination of your use of the Site may remain effective where legally appropriate.
These may include provisions relating to:
-
intellectual property;
-
outstanding payment obligations;
-
accrued rights;
-
applicable liability; and
-
dispute resolution.
30. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with the policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the terms governing your use of the Site.
For purchases, our Terms of Purchase and information forming part of your order or contract will also apply.
Nothing in this section excludes statements or information that applicable consumer law requires to form part of your contract.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
